| Sodium Hypochlorite is commonly referred to as bleach and is used as a disinfectant or a bleaching agent. In solution, the compound is unstable and easily decomposes, liberating chlorine which is the active principle of such products. Sodium hypochlorite is the oldest and still most important chlorine-based bleach which has many uses.
This product is 3 times more concentrated than most common bleaches and therefore can diluted for more economical cleaning and storage. Applications Patio and brickwork cleaning, Moss and algae remover, Bleaching agent, Water purification, Odour removal. Swimming Pool Management Use as directed for routine control of algae and bacteria. Ensure chlorine levels are maintained at approximately 2-3 mg/l (ppm). Do not allow free chlorine levels to fall below 1.5 mg/l (ppm). Adjust pH to between 7.2 – 7.6 before bathing commences. Regular checks of the above pool parameters are recommended using a pool water testing kit. Dosage Add the required solution to the pool directly over the return inlets and leave the filter running to ensure even distribution. NOTE: full personal protective equipment must be used when handling this product.
Patio and brick work cleaning Ideally used on stubborn stains that are not removed after soapy water clean. Diluted with up to 6 parts water and 1 part Sodium Hypochlorite 15% for removing Algae, Moss, Lichens, Weeds & Mold. Apply the solutions on the affected area with pressure spray for best results. The solution can also be brushed on with stiff brush for instant results. |
