Steridet 20 1000 litre or 25ltr

STERIDET 20

Steridet 20 contains Caustic Soda, wetting agents, and water softener. This is ideal for CIP in hard water areas, it also keeps down the build-up of beer stone.

DESCRIPTION

This is ideal for cleaning soils in hard water areas. Steridet 20 is a low foam product therefore can be used in CIP. Steridet 20 is a better product to use than pure Caustic solution in hard water areas. It is ideal to be used in recirculation application. Steridet 20 is specifically formulated to be used in Breweries, Dairies and Food Processing Plants. Steridet 20 have a very low freezing point (<-10°), therefore it can be stored outside in winter. Pure Caustic Soda solution would freeze in winter.

CIP

This can be used in 1-5% v/v concentration. For heavily carbonised soils, temperature above 90°c can be used. For protein soils, it is more effective to clean at much lower temperature. Steridet20 is not suitable for direct food contact.

More Info

For cleaning in place applications, it is circulated for 20-30 minutes at 1-5% v/v. Before circulating  Steridet 20, pre rinse with water. After cleaning, the circulation loop should be flushed with water until pH 7 is reached.. Use concentrations between 1-4% at 100°c for cooking vessel boil out. Boil the cooking vessels for 30 minutes

Fryer boil-out, to remove carbonised oil and product residues, use at 1-5%v/v strength. The fryer is typically boiled for 1 to 2 hours.

TRAY WASHING

Use the chemical at 1-2% v/v solution

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF USING STERIDET 20

Blended chelating system for optimal soil breakdown and hard water tolerance.

STERICAUSTICO

Caustic Soda Liquor of Sodium Hydroxide and it is designed to use in boil-out, hot CIP , dose into a washing machine to clean trays or 1-5 % dilution to clean Ovens,

BENEFITS

This is specifically designed to use on the mash tun, cereal cooker, smash boiler, decoction vessel, boiling kettles, mash filters, hop strainer, Tray cleaner etc. This is product is ideal for the removal of protein, tannin, dextrin, gum cellulose, mineral salt disposition and scaling.

RATE OF USE

Final concentration as caustic of 2-5%. Where hardness of water is greater than 200mgms/litre as CaCo3, an additional sequestrant may be required or use our STERIDET 20

PERACETIC ACID 5%

Peracetic acid 5% is a stabilised, equilibrium mixture of acetic acid and hydrogen peroxide. Peracetic acid 5% is one of the most powerful micro biocides available. It is active against a broad spectrum of microorganisms including aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, bacterial spores, moulds, yeasts other fungi and their spores, also algae.

Benefits

a) Non tainting. (b) Fast acting. (c) Non foaming (d) No need to rinse after use.

(e) Non-polluting to the environment.

RATES OF USE

Small items can be soaked overnight in a sleeping tank using Peracetic acid 5%, diluted 3-10 mls per litre of water. Large vessels and plant are best treated by spray-ball using dilute solutions 10-20 mls in a litre of water. Alternatively, a fog gun may be used but particular attention must be paid if a fog spray is used, avoid eye or skin contact or inhalation.

Application

This product can be used in any application where the degree of soiling is light and need to be disinfected after cleaning. Where the soiling is heavy and contains, protein, cellulose, dextrins, mucilage, pectin, a caustic solution is more appropriate for regular routine cleaning. Solutions must be made freshly. Vessels should be sterilised immediately prior to use or be kept tightly sealed after sterilisation. PERACETIC 5% is a terminal disinfectant and provided the items are well drained after treatment, there is no need to rinse. The product decomposes into acetic acid and oxygen, small concentration will not have any adverse effects

STERICHLOR

Sterichlor contains Caustic Soda, Sodium Hypochlorite, and a blend of sequestering agents to inhibit scale formation and improve detergency. This is low foaming enabling its use in recirculation applications such as CIP. This is specifically formulated to be used in Breweries, Dairies and Food Processing Plants. The combinations of wetting agents, high alkalinity and chlorination gives excellent removal and suspension of fats, oil, protein, flavouring, vegetable and fruit staining.

USE INSTRUCTIONS

In use concentrations are applications dependent and should be established during trials. A 1% v/v solution of Sterichlor delivers approximately 0.15% w/v causticity and circa 350 ppm available Chlorine. It is not possible to use Chlorinated products above 50°c. This product is not suitable for direct food contact.

CIP

For clean in place, Sterichlor is typically circulated for 20-30 minutes 0.25% to 5% v/v. The exact concentration is dependent on water hardness and soil type . It is good practice to pre rinse with water before using Sterichlor.

Cooking Vessel Boil Out. Sterichlor is suitable for cooking vessel boil out to remove protein stains or carbonised and burn on product residue. Sterichlor should be used at 0.5% to 5% v/v. The temperature should be restricted to 50°c. The contact time should be approximately 20-30 minutes. Where soil have become heavily mineralised it may be necessary to follow Sterichlor with acid clean i.e. Sterichlor, water rinse, acid clean.

Tray and Rack Washing; Sterichlor should be dosed at 0.25% and up to 5% depending on soiling. It is recommended that gross soiling should be removed from the items before they are passed through the washer. The temperature should be restricted to maximum 50°c

Soak Application: Sterichlor is suitable for soak baths used for stainless steel items at strength of 0.5% to 1% v/v(175-350 ppm) available Chlorine. Do not soak Aluminium items overnight, especially if used in high concentration as to avoid corrosion.

BENEFITS

Excellent removal of vegetable deposits, protein, flavouring and tannin.
